It's been awhile...

Our house in the snow,

My happy little snow bunny

Dylan's first snow man or snow goddess

"Are you done eating that?"

My old house with the yard dug up

THe ugly expensive enemy

Hi everyone I am back. We are de-stressing from the move and our horrid oil tank nightmare. Our closing of our old house was delayed due an old rusted jerk, that lived under my soil for the past 60 odd years. It was consuming to deal with, all the frantic pone calls from the realtors, insurance company, lawyers and anyone else I forgot. My stress level was only heard by dogs it was so high. THe closing was neverending and all this pain was expensive. ....but.

One leaking air (yes air not oil) 6200.00
Closing costs form a poor choice in lenders over 10,000.00
Moving 800.00
My kids out all day in the snow playing with all their friends who live up the block, a room for Dylan, a place we love that is quiet and safe.....priceless!

So I am back to stay fellow bloggers. DYlan is almost 11 months old, and is crawling around like a monkey. He says. ma ma, da da ( for hours on end like a mantra), cat, that, and ba (ball). He is non stop action, as I type is is trying to hammer this laptop with a large metal lock. So I gave him my cell phone which always gives me at least 5 more minutes.

We had a snow day today, and everyone had fun including me! I think this is the first snowfall I have not had to go to work (I am an ER nurse). DYlan and I made a snow goddess.

Oh and today I fished a "pebble" out of his mouth. I noticed that it was foul smelling, it was a cat turd! Yes cat shit, in his little mouth. I had a heart attack, called the ER, and he will be OK. Everyone had a good laugh (except me, picturing a septic shock kid). At least he is on omnicef (for Strep), I hope Omnicef covers cat poop!

That, that is disgusting and delightfully hilarious! Thank god we have a basement for the cat litter, but Lu constantly puts chunks of dog hair in her mouth. It's just fiber, right?

Oh... we have a basement too! But our dog likes to raid the box and bring the choice morsels to the rug to savor! Is it bad that Dylan Loves my cooking!

I love the snow pictures...and the kiddos bundled up!! Your dog reminds me of how our dogs act around us at the dinner table! :)

P.S. Your snowman looks great too!

With all the "stuff" that Wesley leaves us I'm surprised that Lily hasn't turned up the same "meal". Love the snow pictures! Sandra says hi!

I can't believe how big he is getting... So cute.. A little cat poop never hurt anyone... espcially when already on antibiotics.. I am glad you are back to blogging..

Hey I did call you back BTW.. so there and it wasn't because of the sharp objects Dylan had in his mouth either

Love and Miss you

Jennifer

Sounds like things may have been a little crazy lately but hopefully have slowed down now!

You're back!!! I missed reading your blogs!! I pulled some of Isabella's own poop out of her mouth a few months ago. Oh...and a dog turd! (Not at the same time-thank goodness) I think it is a stage they go through!! Dylan is absolutely adorable...as are your girls (and hubby!!) :)

Glad you are back and in your new place! We are having a little problem with carpenter ants in our house right now and the other day I fished one out of Natalie's mouth...it was still alive! I guess it shows she has good picher grasp! We have gone private with our blog so e-mail me if you would like an invite.
