My cup runneth over...

I sing this corny song to Dylan all the time. It means so much so me that such a simple thing is perfect for my love for him.
Sometimes in the morning when shadows are deep
I lie here beside you just watching you sleep
And sometimes I whisper what I'm thinking of
My cup runneth over with love

Sometimes in the evening when you do not see
I study the small things you do constantly
I memorize moments that I'm fondest of
My cup runneth over with love

In only a moment we both will be old
We won't even notice the world turning cold
And so, in these moments with sunlight above
My cup runneth over with love

Babies make everything full of sunlight from above. (Esp at 4am!) He turns me into mush. I will do anything for a smile. When he is being held by someone else and he wants me he gets very loud, and reaches frantically for me. When I pick him up he giggles and sighs and throws his arms around my neck and climbs as high as he can, up on my neck. ALmost like he wants to be in my skin. I love him. I love him. I love you Dylan. Everyone in this family loves this baby. He has given us all the wonder and hope of childhood.

We have been a family for 2 months now. We are all so in love. We have all grown so much closer. I think we all try harder to help each other. We wake up happy to be a unit. Our unit. I feel so blessed to have my children. To love them all so deeply. They all grow too quickly. We had an adoption reunion party last week end. Emily has been our child for over 11 years now, she will soon be 12. The girls get along so well and I am so grateful for the people I met through adoption.

In the past month Dylan now speed crawls, pulls himself anywhere he can. He also eats like a champ! Anything and everything and if we are eating it we better be able to share. OR ELSE! I had to go to work last week and help teach an Er Peds class. I lectured with him on my hip...blowing raspberries! (Dylan, not me)
